Clipper Cross Country Series
Runners interested in cross country racing can participate in the four week Clipper Cross Country Series 2023 which is in its 25th year! The events are Wednesday evenings: July 26th, August 2nd, August 9th, and August 16th. Time is 7:00pm for start. Registration is $7.00 per runner and begins at 6:00pm at the track concession stand behind Columbiana High School, 700 Columbiana-Waterford Road, Columbiana. The first and third week races are 1.85 miles and the second and fourth week is the 5k course. Runners participating in all four weeks will receive a cotton/poly t-shirt. Seven age groups to participate in scoring six deep. At the end of the four week series all runners that participated in all four weeks will be ranked overall and the top male and female will receive a trophy!
This site is the location of the 2017-2022 USATF Lake Erie Association's Cross Country JO, Open and Master's Championship Meet. It is scheduled to take place here again in 2023.
Age groups are:
Pre-Middle School (anyone not yet in 7th grade in the fall)
Middle School (7th and 8th graders)
High School (9th-12th grade)
Open (High School graduate through age 39)
Masters (40-49)
Grand Masters (50 plus)
Senior Masters (60 plus)

Provided by Second Sole. All runners will have accurate chip timing each week with live finish line results that are post-able on your social media account if you register online using your social media accounts! Finish line video available too!
